Happy Camper

Gee today I am a happy camper. I was doing squats today. As I went down to the bottom I got semi stuck, so in a effort to finish the rep I tilted my head back ( i never do that), and almost insently my back flattened up and (bam) the weight went up with ease. The next set I did the whole set with my head tilted back. No lower back tightness at all.

I do have a question however. Do any of you ever feel a stress type feeling in your knees. Not a sharp pain but kinda like the knee feels like its under stress?

I get that feeling in my knees. Its not sharp, but it feels like somone is pushing really hard against the front of my knee. Its sucks ass. The sad thing is, if i warm up good for squats, its ok, but then the next day, it hurts to get up from a chair!! To get up from a chair!!!! Now that sucks.

My chiro said its because i have a spinal compression where the nerves go into the legs.

But also, i am doing DoggCrapps routine at the moment, and the volume is lower and much much much easier on my knees. I used to do like 5 or 6 sets of heavy squats and my knees would feel ike crap afterwards. But, now, with one or two all out sets, its intense, but easier on my knees.

One more thing.... another chiro told me that the problem was that i had spasms in my quad muscle which was pulling the patella [knee cap] really tight against my joint when i tried to extend the muscle. This was causeing the pain. He did something called Active Release Techniques and my knee felt a lot better.
