hair loss treatment

maybe it is juice related but i am starting to lose hair. i am starting to get a receding hairline at age 26.

what can i do?
 
I thought that my uncle had a full head of hair and that all was well on my mother's side. Only just found out that the moron wears a wig!!!
 
dont even know what finasteride is. u serious?

my father has a full head of hair. i dont understand how i'm getting a receding hair line. it seems to be getting rapidly worse by even the day
 
Shave it. I will never grow my hair out again. It was nothing but a pain in the ass. If you have a big neck and big muscles and are confident, you won't be bothered by having a shaved head. And many women do like it. Some don't. But, fuck them. LOL
 
i have a large forehead. just scared to see how it would look. not sure if i could pull that off.

i shouldn't be losing my hair though

Me nephew is only 23 and his is receding big time. Some guys start losing it at 18. What is hair, but dead skin cells anyway.
 
Its one of those things you cant worry about too much, im 24 , going a bit thin on top and receeding , Ive tried some of those shampoo's and topical hair loss treatment sprays but nothing really worked to be honest.

Just tonight I saw a guy I used to go to school with and he noticed my hair looked different from the last time i saw him which would of been a bit over a year ago, i responded with you talking about it being more receeding or me going thinner on top ? he agreed it looked thinner but said something about it suiting me, guess he was just trying to be nice haha. So yeah just try to be happy with your hair what ever happens to it , much bigger things in life to worry about :)
 
Don't waste your money on topical crap, it might grow a little fuzz, but not worth the money or trouble. I noticed some hairloss in crown area about 4 yrs ago & got on finasteride (propecia), then 2 yrs later on dutasteride (avodart), it has helped alot & regrown in thin areas. Only way to go.
 
ONLY PROVEN TREATMENTS (BIG THREE), everything else is marketing bullshit.

Propecia
Minoxidil (get 5%)
Nizoral 1% (get 2% from outside US)...

and YES, they work.

you can get propecia at www.ag-guys.com (LiquiSteride - Finasteride)
minoxidil is rogaine but rogaine only contains 2% minoxidil
nizoral 1% can be obtained at walmart

No, do not take them together. Some people even think duta is too potent by itself (lowers bloodstream DHT). Cost 80-90 bucks/month
 
There is nothing wrong with going bald. Just let it go. A lot of those hair growth products, like Rogain, cause sexual side effects. I kinda like semi bald men.

Jesus. Finasteride cost me $90 a year.
 
I got mine through a presciption. Pay what insurance doesn't (which is $63/month and they don't cover as much as the should)

I have always been weary of online pharmas, but I think I may start going to them...

Dude, you have a glaring omission. Dutasteride (brand name Avodart) has been shown to reduce both types of DHT (yes there are two types) by up to something like 90%, whereas Finasteride only reduces one type by something like 70%.

chewy, there are generic dustasterides now. WAAY cheaper than Avodart. My papa buys the brand now since he's got the bank, but if you're on a budget, try the one's from India.
 
my hair loss is just starting now.

i am starting to get a receding hair line and there seems to be thining. i appreciate all the replies and will def look into them.

agree, but you its off label, so its harder to get a scrip for it for hair. I heard its effective.

It is usually genetic, and every 2nd or 3rd generation. My grandfather (dad's) had a full head of hair, dad went bald. All but one of 5 brothers in the family are bald or going bald now 'cause Mom's dad was a cue ball.

Best recommendation was to cut your hair to fit the style until it is gone. Then trim it short or shave it all the way. Besides, lots of women love the cue ball look. They rub your head with all kinds of body parts.
 
i took a tab a day for the last 4 days. guess i better reserve.

going to walmart tomorrow to pick up that shampoo.


hair seems to be getting pretty thin though. never thought i'd get this shit in a million years

me either my dome isn't round enough. I got some minoxidil now we'll see how that goes.

it seems the finasteride I bought has stopped my hairloss. magiliguti you need to give it 3-6 months to notice a difference.
 
my hairloss seems to be getting worse but i am still on my cycle. i mean my hair is getting really thin and i can see my scalp easily on most of the of my head.

okay so this stuff stops hairloss but how about getting my hair back?

my head is def not round enough to pull off the shaved head look. i've tried to pull the trigger many times and i know i'd look like an alien
 
bro, did you read one sentence anyone typed here. Go back and read the suggestions on the scrips. Also, last resort is a transplant.

What are we talking here? How many hairs per day would you estimate, also whats your propecia dose and how long you been on it (there is a shedding period).

I just got Liquid Finasteride from AGGUYS an hour ago .Im taking 2.5 mg's Proscar what would be the equivalent Liquid purposes???? thanx
PS also using 1% Nizoral. do u recommend going to 2%
 
dutast, adovart etc are fuckin dangerous. may more potent than finasteride. even finasteride (the less potent, more scientifically researched) is risky business.

im not sure alot of people realise how serious these drugs actually are. when you choose to go on finasteride, dut etc. you choose to take on board alot of very serious side effects. these are drugs actually altering brain chemicals.

there is alot of cynism surrounding dutasteride and for good reason. do your research before you make a decision (hairlosshelp.com forums are a good start)
