The frenzy is setting in.... I just felt the craze today and did a lot of new stuff and set a few pr's as well.
Squat: I max out last week about 4-6" past parallel so this week i work on some volume past parallel. 135x10, 225x8, 275x8, work sets 325 5x5 all with good arch but man was my erectors pumped by keeping a tight arch all the way down
Romanian Deadz. Felt really good on this excercise and had a deadlift jack available to me . 135x8, 225x8 no problem with grip as well on all sets. 315 2x8 Pr's by 20lbs
Hack squats: these sucked big time as I started to pass out during the middle of the second set cause I wasn't breathing enough BWx10, 250 2x10 Pr's by 20lbs. felt real good when I was done thank god it was over, lol.
Hamstring curl 100x10, 120x10, 140x10 torture doesn't describe the pain I was feeling on these. I have definitely found my weak point and will work on it.
Seated calf raises 90x10, 180x10, 90 x10 nice and slow
GM's never really done these but my form was right on each set and felt very comfortable. Barx6 seated, barx6 standing, 115x6 seated, 115x6 standing, 165x6 seated, 165x6 standing. wow did my back , glutes and hamstring get torn up on these, definitely a new permanent addition to my workouts.
Went to my old high school to push my car, 4000lbs of german steel baby. 2x100m one on a slight incline and one on a decline, good speed and enough wind.
hopefully I am ready for Bluegrass
