No doctor in Canada will give you anything to treat gyno. They will give you a referal to an endocronologist, and the endo wont prescribe anything as well. They will ask you why you have gyno, and you really cant lie because even if you say its from puberty, they will see your size, run blood tests and when they find out you've been using gear, they will refuse any further treatment to you untill you have been off juice for at least 60 days. The treatment after will be surgical removal of the lumps (not the gland) and you will have to pay for it. Its not covered under any medical card in Canada. Your best bet is to not waist your time seeing a doctor and buy some letro and start your own treatment asap!

hey Mr X / Dale ... my bros been on letro for 3 days now(2.5 mg ed). At this point in time id have to say it working. The main lump is still there, but its diameter doesnt go near as far across the nipple as it seemed to be a few days back. However, I am curious for future reference ...

Can letro aggrevate/make any type of gyno worse similar to nolva with Prog gyno or is letro a safe bet for treating all types?

I would double check that if I were you. I am being told (here in Ontario) that it is coveredby OHIP. A good friend of mine had the surgery and thus looked into this in quite detail. He says OHIP will cover it - but there was about a two year waiting period for the surgery OR you could simply pay for it and have it done much sooner.
Again, you may dispute this, and I must admit, I have not personally looked into it, just repeating what I was told.

Personally, I used Femara and Nolvedex ( 2.5mg/day and 40mg/day) for a month and it completely removed my gyno - including the hard lumps.

Your friend is not being truthful bro. Im from Toronto and Ive dealt with this issue already. Gynecomastia surgery is NOT covered by OHIP under any circumstances. It is considered cosmetic surgery and OHIP will not cover any of the costs involved. The only time they will consider covering it, is ONLY if it is related to puberty and it is painful and necessary to remove them. As I stated in a previous post, I was seeing an endocronologist at Mt. Sanai Hospital in Toronto and was told straight up that NOT under any circumstances would OHIP cover the costs of this surgery.
