Gym Apparel / atmosphere

Hi all you jacked up freaks out there in weightlifting land. I was just wondering if you get alot of woos's at your gym that wear alot of tight spandex. I'm no primmadonna, but dress with a little bit of style. I usually wear my Otomix baggies and sneakers with a t-shirt, sweatshirt, or a rag top. I see alot of the old geritol men and some of the young guys wearing spandex and some of the guys who think their god with tank tops on. Also alot of these guys go to Bally Health club. I think it's alot of weekend warrior sissy's who lift their chrome weights, and gaulk at the girls. What is the atmosphere like in your gym?

My school gym, or "fitness center" if you will, is basically a shorts and t-shirt gym. There are a few who wear warm-up pants but we have absolutely no tank-tops or cut off shirts. Girls are the same too....although they usually seem to wear the short shorts and tight t-shirts. I really don't care what people wear though, I'm not there to people watch. Most of the time I don't even look at anyone while I'm training, except for the girls that happen to walk by.

I think Im the only guy that doesnt wear a tank top at my gym. These people really do need to cover up, its quite a site. Lots of mirror men flexing that really need help. Its hard to stay focused when these people crack me up. Funny shit.

ironone1-Please tell me your kidding about wearing the baggy pants and shoes by Otomix. And a rag top!!! Stop please your killing me!!

Otomix is off the hook man. Their baggies fit good. They are not really loose fitting "baggies". I wear sweats in the winter and shorts for cardio. What should I wear jeans.

I dont understand why some people wear all the spandex and all, I just wear something comfortable some athletic shorts and a t-shirt.

well I always like to be fasionable in the gym with matching outfits, and all names like max muscle, perfetto, no limits, body temple, and some more shit I got, I dont wear the otomix, cause everyone who thinks they are a bb wears em, I prefer the classic reeboks, the exofits, they are the hi-tops with the velcro, nice they are, never have to tie, just adjust the strings to slip on and off, and velcro up, plus they have a nice flat surface....the classic mid-exertion are good also, you can check them out on the reebok site...............hell everyone at golds in venice wears max muscle gear, since the store is one block from the gym! And max muscle endorses the pros and gives them contracts and free clothes!

Black T-shirt and shorts. Chuck Taylors and a supersuit when squatting. Old flannel shirt in winter, and maybe a black beanie.

I couldn't care less what others in the gym think of how I look and don't care what they wear. It's about lifting, not prancing in front of the mirror.
