Gun peeps...How to decock my Glock?

Seriously though, I have the Glock 19 handgun (compact 9mm). If I load a round in the chamber is there a way to get it out without firing the gun?

I hope this isn't a stupid question.

How long have you had it?

You should know how to operate your hand gun....

Pull the slide back you fool..... some hanguns have a de-cocking lever.... Alot of HK's do...

OMG. First of all, the glock uses a very different firing mechanism. YOu can't cock or decock it.

Press the magazine release to that you do not chamber another round, hold the gun in one hand, and pull the slide back with the other and the round will eject. Why do you own a gun you do not know how to operate????

drop the magazine out of the gun. rack the slide and use that little lever to hold it the slide open, then the round will eject from the pistol. rack the slide forward and there should not be anything in there.

Thinking about glocks this reminds of a story a friend of mine told me. He and his friend had two pistols and went out to the country with a manican(Sp) and started shooting it like gangster do you know hold the gun sideways up high pointing down a little. They were saying, "take that homey" and "i'm a chicken hawk hunting for chicken get paranoid when you here my glock clicken" Then after about three clips they look up and are surounded by swat cops with m16's trained on them. They almost shit in their pants. Plus their guns got pretty dirty after they dropped them. The cops thought it was funny but they could have ended up dead.

Supposably some old lady thought they were killing a naked person and just riddling the dead body with bullets and called the cops.

hey rethink your statement... every rap star sings about glocks and benzs sooooo they must be good. right? I mean pay no attention that they do not have a real safty mechanism unless you buy an aftermarket safty and have it installed. think about it anything can trip that trigger like a tree branch when it is falling from your hand after you get bitch slapped for having a yugo gun. or your belt/pants when you are trying to shove it your pants like the rap stars do. it has even been reported several times of then getting hung on holster locks. soo what makes them so bad?

I was laying in bed the other night and heard a noise outside. I jumped up and noticed 2 motion lights on outside, so while in my underwear I did a tuck and roll out of my bed and snatched my Glock from it's hiding place nearby.

You should've seen me, I was all Rambo and shit running thru the house waving my gun around. I wish I had stuff to shoot. Perhaps I can buy a cute puppy dog to serve this purpose.
