It's time for the Greek festival in my town and all the delicious food that comes with it. Half the time I can't pronounce what I am eating but damn it is good.


Plus the women are beautiful.

This food is all home made. The Greek families in the area get together and use old family recipes and it is awesome.

Is it Gee-row or Jie-row? I`ve heard it both ways. I think it`s the former.

You cant if your american...
The G sound is not in your language. Its sort of the sound of hocking up slime, but only for a very short split sec.

We also have a real R, which scots have too. You have your tongue almost touching the top of your mouth cavity and make it vibrate with your voice. im sure you know what it sounds like.

Geeros. make the S sharper than your used to as well.

The O is like the o in cord.

Every time I call and get the Greek operator...they always ask me what my name is about 4 times...then I have to spell it for them. Then, they mispronounce it...lol. Cleeent is not my name...lol.

I just lost one of my dearest pals a few weeks ago. He was Greek. He and his wife are like my second mom and dad. John always said that Greek food was a feast for the eye's as well- TIS TRUE! I always enjoyed eating at their home. It won't be same without John around!
