i know most people hate to eat vegetables, but you REALLY gotta do it. i have a simple, effective way for you to get a nice helping of them, which really does the body some good.
any combo can be used, but i like the following:
squash
zucchini
broccoli
sweet vidalia onions
baby portobella mushrooms
red bell pepper
garlic
you'll also need a frying pan, olive oil, and teryaki (i like kikkoman)
first, sautee the garlic in some olive oil (about 3 tablespoons) to your liking.
then add the vegetables (cut them up beforehand however you like).
last, add one tablespoon teryaki.
stir the vegetables around until they all get a good coating of olive oil and teryaki. you don't want to fry them up too much, because over cooking them will get rid of a lot of nutrients. just make sure they are all well coated and hot. 4-5 minutes max on a medium-low heat.
serve and enjoy!
