Which do you guys typically prefer? I finally found some solid, organic, rolled granola made by Ezekiel. Ever heard of it? 1g of sugar, low fat, etc. Same nutrional benefit as oats? Thoughts?
Its just that I am around 3 cups a day now......getting old, sorta....even though some are cooked and some raw.....if ezekiel is solid, why are oats better?
Bulking, probably not much difference. I hear you on eating 3 cups.
I normally will add turkey bacon, a couple whole eggs, a piece of whole grain toast with peanut butter, some cottage cheese, etc. when trying to have a high calorie breakfast.
I do this alot....when the oats begin to boil, put in a teaspoon or 2 of vanilla extract, depending on how many cups you are eating, and let it simmer a minute. Or conversely, Log Cabin Sugar free syrup works well. Pour oats over your favorite frozen fruit, and top with cinnamon.
