Im craving pizza and want to make my own pizza at home. Anyone got any good dough recipes and pizze recipes??

i make mine without dough. i form xtra lean hamburger into a very thin layer and place on cookie sheet i have sheet with holes in it and cook until browned. The grease just drips through hole. onced browned i add pizza sauce, meat cheese and other veggies onto the top of meat and put back in oven and cook until cheese melts.

well first off i have a pizza tray that has holes in it. i put this on top of a normal cookie sheet so that it can catch the drippings. I basically form a thin round layer the size of pizza tray(about 8 inch diameter) with hamburger and cook at 350 for about 15-20 mins until cooked through. All thats left is to add pizza sauce, meat and veggies then top with grated cheese and place back in oven and broil for about 5 minutes until cheese fully melted. I know its not as good as your local pizaa joint but its a very good alternative for us ckd' ers

How about using a low carb tortilla?? Well, depending on whether or not you can fit them into your diet.

But, if you can bake the tortilla till crisp -- it may puff up if so, just poke it with a knife. Once crisp top with whatever & bake till warm.

A good way to get your "pizza" as it's one serving, no leftover to tempt & really pretty healthy (depending on toppings)

I just said f-it and made my special Italian dough...took about 2hours but it was as usual the best dough in the world. When i want pizza, I want PIZZA.

Cooked up my special recipe garlic/basil sauce to go on it too..mmmm

but that dough ahhhh that dough.....the best crust in the world...

2 3/4 c Bread flour
1 ts Salt
1 ts Active dried yeast
1 ts Sugar
3/4 c Warm water (about)
1 tb Olive oil

In a small bowl, combine yeast, sugar and just a bit of water; leave until foamy(usually 5-10min). Add yeast liquid to flour with remaining water and oil. Mix to a soft dough; knead on a floured surface 10 minutes until smooth. Place in a greased bowl; cover with plastic wrap. Let rise in a warm place 45 minutes or until doubled in size. Punch down dough and knead briefly. Oil an 12-inch pizza pan. It takes alot practice and time over and over to get the technique ratios and timing just right so the dough come how YOU want it to. Dough making/bread baking is an art that takes practice....;)
