Detroit vs Leafs in the Finals. From the original 6.....wishful thinking? I don't think so as long as they don't have any injuries.

that would be very cool. And if Ottawa keeps playing like they did in game one, we will have nothing to worry about.

Leafs play with too much emotion, their a bunch of knuckleheads running around trying to hit everyone. Flyers in 6. Flyers have more depth, no injuries, and more AMERICAN players. woo hoo.

Leafs got a Mogilny, Sundin, Roberts. No one else is a big goal scorer on that team. Reneberg scored his one goal, Tucker's hurt and only shows up to play in Toronto.

Roenick, Leclair, Recchi, Gagne, Amonte, Primeau.

Stick a fork in them their done.
 
I agree that with this many key injuries, the Leafs don't stand much chance. But if they can pull this series out of their ass, they might be healthy enough to keep going.

You forgot about The Leafs Defense, its solid, and you also didnt mention the fact that Belfour is a quality goalie...
and as far as naming "big names"....Just ask the Rangers how well that strategy works
 
Big difference between the rangers and the flyers is chemistry. The Rangers have a team of individuals. As for Belfour, his best days are behind him, he has his ring and he's not gettin one this year. Belfour's biggest problem is he leaves massive rebounds which is LeClair's bread and Butter. Defense come on, Houlsey was turned inside out by Gagne who's half his age. McCabe goes to hit LeClair and he falls LeClair gets himself a slam dunk.

Flyers in 6 maybe even 5 if they can stop Toronto's only offense...Mogilny.

oh dont get me wrong, i think the Flyers will take the Leafs out (although id like the Leafs to win). I was just pointing out that The Leafs deserve more credit than you gave them, and that pointing out big names only works in Colorado...

The big shooters have to play well, and so does belfour.
 
that was definitely a good game last night. I'm sticking with my Devils though. I don't follow hockey too closely but I always go with the Devils if they're in the playoffs

Don't start....I'm not in the mood. We aren't finished yet...we won 4 straight twice last year. Although I don't think the Wings will pull it off. Not unless their goalie gets hurt.

Detroit has not lost 3 games in a row all season....they went 22-2(ballpark) the last 24 games. I am very disappointed in:

Federov
Hull
CuJo

We should of signed Belfour..he was cheaper too.

My picks....I see all the Canadian teams making it through to the second round! New Jersey and Washington are obvious choices, Anaheim and Colorado are obvious choices as well. Leafs vs Senators in Eastern Conference finals, Canucks vs Oilers in Western finals! Damn that would be nice!

Awful offense? have you watched the games? Over 100 shots the first 2 games. It is the goalie beating the Wings. Anaheim even acknowledges they have been out played.
 
I think the last team to come back from 3-0 in a series, was the Islanders back in the 70's....I could be wrong though.

I tired of seeing teams like N.J., Colorado, and Detroit in the finals fist.
I would like to see Edmonton come out of the West and hopfully my Flyers.
 
Ok round 2.
Major upsets in the West.
My flyers down 1-0 against ottawa. I don't see them beating Ottawa and if they do its gonna be another 4-3 series.
Anahiem will upset dallas in 6 or 7 games
Minnesota over Vancouver in 6 maybe 7
NJ over TB in 4 maybe 5 games

These are my predictions.

Oh yea baby! I talk to a lot of Canadians on the phone at work and we talked shit back and forth all day. Anaheim here we come!!:D :D
