Glycerine

Anyway, I think taking glycerin for that purpose would be a bit of overkill. Just drink some bottled water or something and you should be fine.

I should be close to 6% body fat when on holiday, so I'm thinking the glycerol trick will bring out my vascuarity some?
Here is the trick:
The night before I will mix up 1 cup of red wine and 50 ml of glycerine and sip this before going to bed. This helps to fill out the muscles. Glycerine temporarily draws water inside the muscle cells making them fuller. I will have the wine and glycerine again early the following morning. Glycerine is also a mild laxative, so it will help eliminate any bloating.

I'm not 100% sure that glycerol is going to be everything you make it out to be. It's a cheap supplement, so if you dont get good results, you're not out much, but I read some study that was saying that glycerines supposed athletic benefits may have been greatly exaggerated throughout the suppl. industry.

I also seriously doubt retaining water would ever make one "more vascular". At 6% BF, you should be vascular as fuck anyway (and be showing a 6 pack for sure).

I wouldn't try the glycerine thing in the way you described...too easy to end up bloated and shitting your brains out

I would mix a liter of pedyalite and 2 liters of water and drink throughout the day especially if you are drinking, this should keep you well hydrated.
 
Thanks bros. You may be right. I dunno how effective the glycerol trick is cos I don't know anyone who's tried it pre-contest.
What is pedyalite by the way?
