Glucophage for cutting (JMW!)

I've been doing some research on slin sensitivity and ALA & Glucophage's effects but have a hard time understanding how/if that can help with CUTTING.

First of all, does glucophage sensitize muscle cells only, or both muscle AND fat cells?

Second of all, how (in reference to a post by JMW) could that increased sensitivity help with fat loss???

glucophage, I think will only help with fat loss if you are insulin resistant, it increases your insulin sensitivity, which will allow carbs to be used for energy instead of stored as fat, if you are over weight chances are you are also insulin resistant.

usually in bodybuilding insulin and glucophage is used for bulking, forcing more glucose into the muscle cells but it can be used to get into ketosis faster which is for fat loss

I'm gonna bump this because I curious.
I've got a friend who isa little fat and I was thinking of planning a Glucophage/Cytomel/Clen/ALA/NYC/Yohimburn cycle for him so he can get rid of some excess fat. I'm a Ecto, so i don't know shit about cutting.

glucophage is more active in gut fat....the thiaguanidenes are more active in skelatal muscle....the first one out was troglidazone which was withdrawn for causeing liver failure but now there are 2nd generation drugs in the same class....not sure of the names.

I agree. Also it works to get faster into ketosis

Okay, so I'm having a hard time getting a consensus from this post...
Is it
Glucophage=fat burning for insulin resistant endos but not at all for ectos?

Well, I don't know the bio-physics of it, but when I use glucophage (5 times in the past) I got fat as fuck. I only use it to pack on the weight and end up taking a few months to get rid of all the fat.

Is there a SCIENTIFIC way to test my slin resistance/sensitivity? I remember a thread on the fina board mentioning blood glucometers but never found it again...

Thx.

It might work for cutting because metformin pretty much turns your intestinal contents into gum. this is why so much of the carbs don't get turned to fat...they just don't seem to get absorbed. I found this effect very unpleasant, so I don't use the stuff.

the drugs you are thinking of are Avandia and Actos (yes thats the correct spelling with no "E" on it, I thought for the longest time it was supposed to have an E on the end)
These 2 drugs compete directly with each other (market wise).
I dont know of their validity for BB purposes though.
