I can tell you about my exp with ginger root. I do two 500mg caps a day. I noticed the next full day that I wasn't getting bloat in the afternoon. That was great, much better for those of us who sit behind a desk.
Second I noticed, I get very hungy around10:30AM and have my second meal, even when busy my gut would start to make noise and let everyone know I needed to eat.
The 3rd day I started adding ginger root I got very busy and didn't notice the time - it was 11:00 and I didn't notice! I am sure it helped increase what I absorbed from my first meal.
