Getting rid of a gut????

Hi Ladies,

Please help me if you could... I am 5"7 and 129lbs and I have a gut and it's so hard to get rid of it. I can never do too much cardio cause of my bad knee. Doing plenty of sit ups alone, will that get it of it? I don't drink soda. I am just so upset about my stomach. Thank you for all of your help and tips.

Give us more info. What's your diet like?? (that's the most important thing)
Do you lift? What's your training like?

You can't spot reduce... if so, I would have chosen to reduce all the fat that I do have on my butt & thighs & keep fat on my body only just below the collar bones :lmao:
Alas.. I don't get to decide where my body puts the fat stores that I do have.

Ok...The diet,

I used to eat evrything and anything, for the past month I have been eating cereal or oatmeal in the morning...for lunch I eat rice and beans and veggies and meat. Usually my lunch is what's left over from Dinner. I do not drink soda. Does this help?
 
Sorry I forgot to tell you about my training.

I go to the Gym 3x a week, and I take spinning classes, I concetrate a lot on my abs, so I spend more time doing sit ups. I can only run on the dreadmill for no more than 20 minutes. I also Tap dance 2x a week.
 
Your diet is the problem...you are not eating enough..and you are not eating the right kinds of foods..you can do 5000 situps a day and you will still have a gut...you have to have a CLEAN diet..6 x a day...lots of water...heavy weight training and some cardio..will not happen overnight and there is no such thing as spot reduction..change your lifestyle and go from there.
