Imagine what will happen when they find the gene for humans. People will be getting their children scanned for mo and then be able to control it.

I can see the government maybe even requiring it.

All they did was take away the ability for the fly to distinguish between males and females. They didn't change its preference, just confused it.

I do think people are born with their preferences.

Without wanting to spark a 20 page debate, i don't think sexuality is genetic. It isnt a choice either but something that is decided early on in a persons development by environmental factors too complicated for us to pinpoint. Attraction and preferences is purely psychological as far as i'm concerned. Can you see there being a gene that makes people have fetishes too? No...because sexual attraction is learned.

I think it is a factor of both genetics and environment. Same with intelligence and a host of other traits.
