Gay pornstars hit the mainstream

With all this talk of pornstars, it's interesting how gay (male) porn models have been showing up more and more in mainstream publications. They've appeared regularly in mags like MEN'S FITNESS for years, but now they're showing up in the most surprising places.

Gay pornstar Brett Mycles is pictured on p. 174 of the current issue (July 2002) of IRONMAN magazine. His picture appears in an article about -- what else -- picking up women!

Here's a pic of "Brett" ... one of the few where he isn't totally naked. He certainly is a handsome guy with a great physique. I wonder if his "past" will hurt his modeling career?

From what I've heard, gay pornstars make even more money than female performers. Dunno about the his past hurting his modeling career. Maybe not since most hetero have no clue about him.

I've heard that the performers who make the most money in porn are the big female stars -- since the guys in straight porn aren't paid much if anything.

The gay market being so much smaller, I can't imagine any gay pornstar being paid as much as a big female star.

I'm sure they are. They're few gay performers compared to straight males or even girls. Most gay actors are bi so they have many options at their hands (Peter North started as a gay actor). Concerning the girls, it's usually the big names who get the most.

I'm not up on the current ladies of porn, but I remember at one time Seka was the biggest star -- and by far the highest paid star -- in the business.

I've watched both staright and gay porn, and the biggest difference between the two is that the men in gay porn have much bigger dicks than those in straight porn. Also, the men in straight porn tend to have less muscular bodies -- for example, some of the wimpy looking men shown on EXTASY (Dish Network)as compared to those shown on PRIDEVISION (Bell Expressvu).
