gaining muscle while dieting?

here's my question. people say it's almost impossible to gain while losing fat. but after the post workout meal(s), can your body just use it's own fat stores to the provide the energy needed for muscle synthesis, thus leaning you out as you bulid muscle? i wanna lose some fat, go from about 12% bf back to 8 or 6 like before i got hurt, cuz bein fat sucks.

You need protein to build new muscle, so drawing on fat cells won't provide the necessary ingredients.
You can make this type of progress though if it happens, it should be afluke. Never aim for this sort of thing. It's just not good planning and you can end up not making progress. Plus, for all you know, just bulking and then cutting afterwards could have gotten you better results than trying to do both at once. If you don't want to get excessively fat while bulking, then only do phases of around 4-6 weeks, and don't overdo the eating.

just eat clean and go slightly over maintenance calories....after 6 months your muscle to fat ratio will increase and your body will cary less fat..of course if you eat clean...bulking will just give you excuses to eat pizza, fried chicken and cheesesteaks.............buy a zone diet cookbook and eat clean like its a life habit
