Fun with Zerchers

Well I have never done zerchers so I thought they might be fun last night. Here's how it went.

zercher squats

stretch with bar
135x5
225x5
275x2 (bar started to slide sideways and I barely got it racked)
315x3
all are pr's as I have never done them before

Straight leg deads
225x5
315x5
405x3 pr back was dead from zerchers so these were pretty hard.

standing barbell curls
135x5
135x3
mainly did these because some punk kid was doing 85lbs in the rack next to me to impress his friend and pose after each set. Forearms pretty much gave out from zerchers and sldls.

Leg curls (hammer strength seated machine)
1plate x5
2plates x5
3plates x5 pr (have only gotten 3 before)
3plate + a 25 x4 pr

Dinner
long john silvers
3 pieces greasy fried fish
2 orders clam strips
1 order butterfly shrimp
1 order french fries
1 order cole slaw
1 large dr pepper.

All in all a pretty good night. GRIMM pussed out and went to the metallica concert so I was solo.

nice man very nice

can't hate the brother for going to the metallica concert. that is one exception for taking a day off. after all....metallica delivers the tunes that fuel the workouts that make everyone so big and strong
 
I'm definitely going to try those next squat day. I can't do front squats for crap, maybe zerchers will work.

they use to.......... but you build up a tolerance.

i used to get bruised from 185........ then one day i did 315 with no wraps and no bruises.......then 335 and 365, still no bruises.
