Why do u consider the argument weak? Societal pressures and hierarchies exist in many developed creatures , many "modern" human sexual practices are highly abnormal from a purely natural standpoint , personally i think that human sexual behaviour is far more bizarre than the rest of the animal kingdom. I think it is precisely because some acts are unnatural (relative to the rest of the animal kingdom) that they are seen as "degrading". PLenty of logic to that argument.
