Forgot name !!

I got this girl's number at a club but I completely forget her name (drunk), and for some reason I only saved it as 'S' ... I'm assuming that her first name starts with S?? Anyway, when I call her, how do you all think I should go about getting her name? I would be upfront, but I've known a lot of girls who get pissy when you forget their name.

if cell, when ya call her up:
"Hey girl, waz up? It's (your name) calling." And go on w/ what you wanna say to her...
this way ya won't seem like a dumb fuck, at the same time she won't get pissed off you forgot her name.

Try this as well as you go along w/ your conversation:
"Hey, do people call you by a shorter name, nickname, etc?"
She'll most like say yes and let ya know what it is, or she'll give away her name by saying, "No, they just call me S......"

Yeah it's her cell. I was thinking the same thing, just start off the convo with a reminder of who I am and just take it from there.
I was also thinking that later in the convo I'll ask her how she spells her name "to see if I got it spelled right in my phone" (complete bullshit). But this may work, because she is ethnic, and I think I remember her name being a non-traditional one.

update: called her a few days ago and luckily her voicemail answered and lo and behold she says her name on the voicemail greeting. so it worked out well ... thanks for all the advices

Call her and if she answers hang up or if she doesn`t` answer don`t leave a message. When she calls back (which she probably will) don`t answer and hope she leaves a message w/ her name in it.....
