I spend a lot of time researching and planing my diet(s). I tend to experient a lot with different styles/food anywhere from traditional ketogenic diet to the body recomp. protocol (ultimate diet). Below are just a few links that I found pretty interesting (regardless of what type of diet you may be on) about food. I don't necesscarily agree with everything but all offers some interesting facts in their own space. Enjoy!
Cooling Inflammation a scientist dude that thinks that all the evil in our health (aging, metabolic syndrom etc) comes from inflammations in the body..he thoroughly seem to document his claims. Interesting dietary implications
http://www.gunnarlindgren.com/nutritionx.pdf a scientific journalist that seems to have done his home work in trying to debunk myths related to how we “should” eat according to the USDA “food pyramid”
Gary Taubes ? Author of Why We Get Fat and Good Calories, Bad Calories his articles and blog.
Sugar: The Bitter Truth - YouTube and interesting (but long) lecture about the evils of sugar - key point - avoid all bread (I agree)
“Eat Like A Predator, Not Like Prey”: Paleo In Six Easy Steps, A Motivational Guide - GNOLLS.ORG I found this a few days ago…this is an absolutely non scientific piece but kind of compelling (to me). I have been experimenting with the paleo diet and I am getting good results
