First time here have a lot of questions

Hi everyone
I am 23 well will be 24 on the 7th of this month I am 5 "4" and about 145-150 lbs .. At the beginning of this year I was about 200 lbs lost all of the weight lifting and cardio.. But have not hit the gym for about 2 months I feel like i lost all of my muscle mass my arms,back, and legs were getting pretty tone my belly was finally going down!.. But I only get my period like 2-3 times a year and comes w/ very aggressive cramps and last for about a month. So I become weak regardless if am taking vitamins or drinking plenty of orange juice. Moving on...I notice that it took me a long time to get tone. Now what can I take to get more energy and get more results. I will start working out this Monday does anyone have any tips?

make sure you're not starving yourself, that might be a reason for the lack of energy

and don't quit no matter what
it's not always going to be going well and you're not going to be all piss and vinegar
there were times when i had so much stress on me that i was getting weaker no matter what
but i kept doing everything with 100% consistence and i went trough it
 
True true.. I wanted to know if anyone knew about any good supplements for muscle gain
I only do preworkout
Protein and post work out
I had always been the skinny no muscle no nothing till now that I finally gain weight lost it abit and gain muscle. It was pretty hard for me to gain weight so gaining muscle has been the most difficult thing. I work out with a few friends and with in 4 weeks of lift inning they got tone but not me it took me six months to even see the lining of my deltoid :( I don't want to do anything crazy but I feel like I need a push on muscle gain
 
most supplements are bunk and not worth their price. they will give you nothing that you can measure
find a cheap local brand of protein powder that is dosed right and take it if it's cheaper than chicken breast per gram of protein
you need to eat right
keep track of your diet, this is the most important thing as long as you're not chemically enhanced. get 1-1.5 grams of protein per pound of bodyweight, same for carbs and keep the fats low - 60grams per day is alright. all from clean sources not chips

and i asume you're a girl
you don't have the same hormones guys have in order to build muscle so it's going to be slow
don't drink
get good sleep that rests you

Your periods aren't normal and I'd recommend seeing a doctor and getting some advice on that. Losing 50 lbs can throw your hormones out of balance but what you're describing, at your age, isn't the norm. It can be difficult to gain muscle and lose bodyfat at the same time. And if you were that overweight, you are likely building muscle but it may not be as visible as someone who weighs a lot less. If you're wanting to build muscle, I'd ensure you're eating enough (at maintenance or slightly above) and make sure you are getting enough protein. Lift heavy on the weights. To get more specific, you'd need to post up what you're eating and your training. Good luck!
