First Test Cycle for Mx Racer

Hey guys il tell you a bit about myself and hopefully you guys can help me out.

Im 24, 6'2", 160lbs, low bf%. I race motocross at a semi professional level. For this reason it is extremely difficult to gain weight. I have been 160 lbs since high school and although I'm in great shape, I'd like to add on a solid 10-15lbs of muscle. I've tried increasing my intake but it seems no matter what I do I just sweat it out at the track. It's off season now and I have my mind set on getting the job done this year. Here's what I've come up with.

(Keep in mind I'd like to keep things as simple as possible)

250 mg of Test E on Mondays and Thursdays - (week 1-10)

PCT starting 2 weeks after last shot:
100 mg clomid split into 2 doses - (week 12)
50mg clomid for remainder of the 3 week post cycle.

Any advice is greatly appreciated!

I think most people would say that you have way too much room to add weight naturally first. A good simple Test cycle is a great way to start things off but at your age, height and weight...you simply have to build a better base to start. Diet and training is what would suit you better right now. A cycle would only be looking to short cut the work to add the weight.

Good luck.

the cycle lay out looks good in my opinion.. my only problem is this.. if you cannot seem to gain weight naturally at all doing what you do. How do you expect to keep the gains you may make on cycle?

I plan on laying off the bike for a few months and hitting the gym and food hard. My thinking is that when it comes time to ride again il sweat off everything extra and be left with a solid base, just more muscle than before. I'm no stranger to proper diet and workout this would be more of an intense bulking phase til I start riding again.

you don't need steroids with your stats. just lay off the bike like you said and focus as much energy to the weight room as you did on your bike. its that simple. don't forget to work your legs, right now you are a stick with those stats and you have virtually zero muscle on your frame.

keep in mind also if you gained 15 pounds that will effect your racing once you go back to that. i am a former endurance athlete myself and i put on about 15 pounds as well and it caused me to lose about 90 seconds off my 5K time from which I was not able to get back at a higher weight.

your main problem is figuring out what you want.. do you want to build muscle or do you want to improve on your motorcross. there is a reason i don't see muscular guys doing motorcross.

Maybe I should just try blood doping instead. Just kidding...(even though that would probably work lol) I have a feeling that some of the top pros may be taking this route, they just have too much endurance to be going that hard for so long lol

Just some advice from a new poster here

I too was in your boat about 2 years ago. I thought I would just run some Test E and cheat to the finish line. I was 170 pounds and I'm 5'11".

EVERYBODY told me it was a bad idea bcuz I had the fram to put on weight naturally. Well I did, and Igot up to about 195lbs with diet and intense lifting. I am just now gonna start my first cycle and am looking to put on MASSIVE weight thanks to holding out.

Take your time bro

I raced motocross at the top
Level....let me first say don't insult yourself by calling yourself semi pro!...your either pro or your not in motocross and you know that!...

Second...steroids are a very tricky beast when it comes to motocross...out of ever sport and I mean every!! Motocross is THE most sensitive when
It comes to increased pump...I'm sure your aware about how bad arm pump will hurt your lap times, well picture it about 10x worse while on cycle...not gonna help at all. Also if your thinking because your taking time off the bike that by the time you get back on the bike pump shouldn't be a problem....that's also a big NO!!...with bulking your training your muscles to pump, so once you get back on the bike, it's going to take some serious time on the bike to re-teach your muscles to not pump so bad.

There is deffinetly a place for steroids in motocross...just not in a bulking way

blood doping would do nothing to help you gain weight.

and now you are back to the being not sure what you want. so do you want increased endurance or not? blood doping will help endurance but it won't do a thing to help you put on weight. so decide what you want and focus on it.

also the other guy is 100% correct, you will get horrible pumps. steroids don't work like magic pills where you take them and pray to allah for them to make you a better motorcross racer and magically you are granted your wish. but by all means go for it if you insist just don't come back crying when your forearms feel like balloons about to explode on the 2nd lap.. and on that avoid supplements that cause pumps as well. it seems to be popular to have supps that do that which are sold at GNC or whatever. its all about getting a 'pump' and then people take them and then cry when they put 2 minutes on their times
