First cycle- Critique please

Hey all,

First time posting here long time lurker.
I'm planning to take the dive and start AAS.

Stats:
Weight: 80kg/176LB
Height: 180cm/5ft10
Age: 21
BF: 16%? (ill let you be the judge)
Lifting exp: Almost 3 years (so say 1 and a half serious, diet in check etc)

What is your final goal? To compete
Cycle Experience (number of): 0

Proposed cycle:
Compound/dosage/duration 1: Test E 250mg 2/week mon/thurs for 12 weeks

PCT:
Start 2 weeks after last pin,
Nova : 20/20/20/20
Clomid : 100/100/50/50

How does this look?
Have I missed anything?
All feedback will be appreciated.

your body fat is too high and your too young... you have no reason to juice right now man... your not in the proper scenario for it... trust me... at your body fat, your diet is nowhere near in check... why don't you look into sarms as opposed to using steroids? its a much better option for so many reasons....
 
It's amazing how many people think that the MORE serms they use, the better.

And I find it sad that the length of first cycles now exceed the length of pre competition cycles of the 70's. When did people need so much? And you're 21?

What ever happened to taking a couple of dbol for a couple of weeks to see what it's like?
 
^^^ yeah I agree, I lifted 13 years naturally before touching hormones. but what usually happens is a 'friend' gets them excited about it and they look up bullshit transformation before and afters and think that will happen to them. if guys would research instead how to improve their diet and training first they wouldn't need steroids at all at that age in the first place
 
This Is much more common now. I haven't been a member of a board for 8 years so my research has been topic specific. Now that I'm reading a wider range of threads, seeing the youngsters jumping in has increased significantly.

And, Ironmcl, I don't necessarily direct this at you. You seem to have a decent understanding of formulating a cycle but I've read back over 150 pages and the ass-hattery by young guys has increased.
 
Okay finished work for the day and just got home from the gym. Here are my replies:

dylangemelli: I understand and have read that a low bf % before starting AAS is much more beneficial. However, I have just came off my bulk. I did cheat too much on weekends and this is probably where I went wrong. I have fixed this area up since. I also understand that you may say I am too young, and you are probably right. Without sounding rude, it is my call in the end though. I am here just trying to get the best advice I can get. Since you mentioned SARMS I have done some research on them as to be quite honest I have not heard of SARMS in Australia. You have thrown me into a different ball game there with SERMS, they seem to have multiple benefits and less to no sides that steroids would have.

stevesmi: I will have photos at the bottom of this post. Also I appreciate your reply. I have been tossing and turning with the idea of using gear since 19 (I know its crazy). I feel I am ready to touch the waters. This is why I was proposing to start with a test only cycle.

Nelson Montana: Not sure if you are having a shot at me personally or the younger population generally. I dont want to take "a couple of dbol". I want to have a planned cycle with all the necessaries. PCT etc. With the PCT, feel free to enlighten me as to where I am going wrong. Ive researched and I have read yes they are both used for PCT and normally you would only pick the one. However, I want to do everything as safely as possible. I have read that Clomid helps to bring back natural test as nolva acts as an anti estrogen. As I said, I may be wrong here and this is one of the reasons for making this thread.

race121: It is extremely common. Your research does not surprise me, I only have to look around these days. It is much more evident. I appreciate your comment and I would like to think I have a decent understanding of formulating a cycle. I want to get things right from the start.

Legs are lacking, have been trying to work on them as of lately. Also poor lat shot but its all I got. Also mind the some of the surroundings, its my girlfriends house haha.

I appreciate your statement WolfpackAlpha. Do you think I am 17% BF? Or was my guess wrong? As stated in this thread. Until coming to this site, I had never heard of SARMS. Im assuming they are still being used in Australia and I'll have to start from scratch researching them. I know we cant talk about suppliers and what not. But a simple yes or no will suffice. Is there are a website out there that will post to AUS as a decent price?

Www.sarms1.com ships to Australia on a daily basis... Read my sarms articles here... www.evolutionary.org/sarms... Sarms are used heavily in Australia... I get countless emails and pms from guys there exploring them... You are going to put yourself in a much better position to run a cycle by using them to get you in the proper condition and easing your body into this lifestyle...

And I have no desire to insult you. I'm just giving advice. As you said, YOU DON'T WANT TO do what I suggested. That's fine. And that's the problem. You want what you want and you don't really want advice. So why ask? To hear what you want to hear? I don't play that game.

And not for nothing, you look like you hardly work out. You have a nice frame, but fuck, you're 21. Ride a bike and play some basketball and you can be in shape.

I won't even get into all the presumptions you're making that are off base. Best of luck.

I'm sorry if it came off that way. It wasn't what was intended and I do appreciate any feedback or information given. Your suggesting I take a short dbol cycle? Im misunderstanding somewhere?

Also with the PCT, I would love for you to tell me where I am going wrong? I did look up one of your previous threads about a 6 step pct. And to be perfectly honest with you. Ive never heard of half the shit you talked about. So again, I will need to do more research BEFORE I start AAS or SERMS.

To say I barely workout is unfair. I dont want to ride a bike or play basketball. The gym is where I want to spend my time. I want to progress in the gym. I started at 50kgs when i was 17/18. To say it looks like I barely workout is a bit of a killer.....
 
I think you need to investigate some more training techniques. Up the intensity. Try some supplements -- UNLEASHED, BRIDGE, GEAR, - how much protein do you take in? And yeah, if you want to try steroids, take 20 mgs of dianabol for a few weeks and you'll get a feel for what they do. But honestly, I don;t think you're ready for even that. You can still make a lot more progress. And the sooner you start using steroids, the less progress you'll make over the long run.

I do a 5 day split, low reps and heavy. Usually 6 reps.
I have been under the impression going heavy will build more muscle but maybe I should drop the weight a bit and up the rep range and muscle concentration?

Protein on my bulk was around 300g. Maybe overkill but thats just what it happened to be to fill in calories.

You mention supplements -- UNLEASHED, BRIDGE, GEAR.
By gear im assuming you dont mean actual gear/steroids. These are 3 supps I have not heard. I will research them later tonight after work.

Based on what has been said and the photos I've linked. Can you give me some sort of guidance or vision as to what my next goal should be? Should it be to go on a cut, lose BF to a certain %? Not sure if it matters but our summer is almost over in AUS.

Im sorry we may have got off on the wrong foot. That comment about looking like I barely lift tho hit a bit.

I didn't mean you look out of shape. You look good. But there's just a lot of room for growth without resorting to drugs.

No, just keep training. Keep learning. Try a natty stack of UNLEASHED, BRIDGE and GEAR. You'd be amazed how much more progress you can make.
