Is there any difference in male and female training?I want to hire a coach, and would like to know if any will do, orhe/she should have specific knowledge about women's training.
No, there are no specific differences, so any coach will do as longs as he is qualified. Some women prefer female coaches, but this has to do mostly with feeling comfortable, rather than with training aspects.
just like any profession, most are going to be morons. a good personal trainer is hard to find but they are out there. i don't think you will find a good one in a franchise gym to be honest
Men and women have all the same muscles. Generally speaking - the weight workouts for a man and a woman should be very similar. Women generally do higher repetitions and more cardio because their goals are to tighten and tone rather then to build a lot of size.
A good coach should have a lot of experience working with both males and females. The most important thing is having a diet/workout program tailored to YOU. Whether you are a male or female doesn't matter that much, it's your current stats, goals etc. that really matter
Your plan will be tailored to your goals and not your gender. The key with a coach is finding a good one. If you notice they are just trying to sell you things then that is a red flag for me.
