Hi boys, I will be running var for cutting, 20 mg a day, I train 4 days a week and do cardio 6 days a week, I was wondering what my caloric intake a day should be while running anavar for 7 weeks , thanks.
i think that var dose needs to be halved first off
next there is no way to answer your question without knowing your stats.. find a calorie calculator website and put in your info and you will get numbers
First of all, your anavar dosage is excessive - 10 mgs are plenty for a woman. Also, if you are going to do cardio 6 times a week anavar is not the best choice, as it will cause strong muscle cramps and pumps, which make it really difficult to do cardio. Why not opt for Cardarine GW instead? No side effects, good fat loss properties, and it will boost your endurance, so you will be able to do more cardio with less effort.
A rough estimate to determine how many calories you need is to multiply your body weight (in pounds) by 15. That will give you the amount of calories needed to maintain your current body weight. If your goal is to gain weight, multiply your body weight by 17-18. If your goal is to loose weigh, multiply your body weight by 12-13.
For example, a 200 pound person would need 3000 calories to maintain his weight (200 x 15 = 3000).
Once you have determined your calorie needs. Set your protein intake. A good number to shoot for is:
1-1.5 grams of protein/pound of body weight for natural athletes
1.5-2grams of protein/pound of body weight for enhance athletes
Once you have set your protein intake, fill the rest of your calorie intake with carbohydrates and fat.
You need to be in a caloric deficit. The only purpose the anavar has is to prevent muscle loss while you are cutting. It does not actually help with fat loss.
