female best overall cycle for recomping

I’m looking for your advice on the best cycle I can do as a female to recomp. My stats now are 118 lbs and 5’5”. I would like to put on some muscle and get tighter and also lose some body fat. Not sure if I should go for steroids or if I should go for SARMs.

i like reta at 2mgs a week. that is a great option and you will get great results. push it hard and you will do great

i'm a big fan of a recomp stack for females like this:

GW 20mgs a day
reta 1-2mgs a week

Advise from a fellow female. LDG is really effective for women, Anavar or any other androgenic steroid is overkill and not worth any of the hormonal issues they cause in women. I think LDG makes androgenics obsolete for women. I have ALOT of experience with ldg (more than 10 years) and it worked amazingly well for me even at 45+. At your weight for height I would NOT use a glp like reta or you will risk going backward in lean tissue mass or loose structural tone. I have a lot of experience with glp (tirzepatide) because I've been on it for 10 months and lost 52lb in that time. Glp's are powerful.

I have used both Ostarine and LDG4033 and GW for about 10 years. Skip the Ostarine if you want growth and not just re-comp, it took a long time to kick in and didn't do much for me. LDG works great for women! I added 5 lbs of pure skeletal muscle in less than 12 weeks with a moderately intense twice weekly program despite being mid 40's. Adding muscle is hard for women, much harder than many men usually understand so 5lb in less than 12 weeks is pretty good results. Anavar is almost the same at 5lb in 8+ weeks with heavy training.

DO NOT go over 10mg of LDG! Female biology is much different than men with sarms. As a small woman with a female biology even 10mg is pushing liver damage. The most I comfortably used was 7.5 max, starting at 3 and working up. At 10 I started elevating liver enzymes on blood work, and it started messing with monthly cycles. They studied LDG on older post menopausal women at doses less than 3 and it still worked, even considering they were middle aged with no exercise. I did have some water retention with LDG so expect some puffiness while on cycle. LDG should be cycled off at 12 weeks taking about 8+ week breaks to clear receptors. I tried to stretch it longer and started spotting. It took several weeks to really start feeling it, but at about week 3 I suddenly noticed my upper pecks and arms were really starting to pop.

The GW helped with stamina during workouts. I noticed that cardio was easier and it didn't drain as much energy from the lifting if I did some treadmill to warm up before workouts. With GW I was less aware of over training and had to be more mindful to keep to the program and not overdue it because I had the stamina and pain tolerance to keep going. I don't think GW did much for weight loss for me but I would think it could help one get through more cardio which burns more fat.

I also did add in some peptides later. CJC and Ipamorelin, to stimulate growth hormone. I think the sarm/gh peptide stack worked pretty well for me.

More recently I had a difficult "change of life" metabolic crash. Sudden unexplained weight gain that would not respond to any of the normal interventions that had always worked, still lifting same everything. I started tirzepatide (2.5-3.75mg) and hrt which fixed the broken switches but everyone warned about muscle loss so I added LDG 3mg. I lost 52lbs in 10mo but the crazy thing was that according to electrical impedance tomography scans I GAINED 7lb of pure skeletal muscle during the process. In less than one year I'm back to my normal weight of 119 with more muscle. The point is that glp peptides are powerful interventions to be used very carefully because they are more than weight loss or appetite suppressants, they are metabolic modifiers that flip all kinds of switches in many organs, removing structural fat that may make tone worse (ie ozempic face etc.) I would only micro dose any GLP (fractions of any standard starting dose) if you must, but I think LDG can do the job firming up pretty well especially with a higher protein, lower carb diet.

Sorry victim of spellcheck...LDG should read LGD4033
