is this because im not breathing out enough and theres too much pressure....or just me leaning foward to far on the first lift up. its nearly always on the first rep so maybe im being to careless about form?

its not acidic/burning, but it feels stomachy so i REALLY dont wanna be giving myself a hiatus hernia anytime soon. any hints? im hoping i already dont have a haitus hernia :( only happens on deads, ha happened before, todays was the worst

I think it's called a hiatal hernia.. not sure on the spelling. You would KNOW if you had a hernia. Inguinal hernia is when some of your intestines slip through a tiny whole and into your nuttsack. I think that's more likely to happen if you build up too much pressure in your body. I'm not exactly clear on hiatal hernias. I imagine you just have pressure or gas in your system. Feel free to correct me if I'm wrong.

hiatus hernia is where your stomach neck is forced out of the abdomen and into the oesphagus and the stomach refluxs acid into the oesophagus and burns it

i think its too much pressure too, and because its the first rep, my body isnt so used to it. hints?

maybe alter warm up? or breathe more? change posture so more upright...?

Sounds like you know your hernias.. I'm pretty sure it's not called hiatus though. A hiatus is when you take a break from something and return to it later. "I'm on hiatus from work because I went on vacation." Again.. correct me if I'm wrong. I think you're dead on with the definition though.

I have the same problem. Especially if my stomach is full. I've been tested for a hiatus hernia and I don't have one. I think it's because i'm fatter than i've ever been. 35 inch waist.
