Fantasy Football fuckers...Join our EF league

(please don't move this, trying to recruit here). or better yet, sticky it?

we got an EF league going. 12 teams, $50-100 per team (still have to vote, but most likely $100 paid in 2 installments throughout the season.).
I am the league commissioner, puddlemonkey is treasurer.

Draft will be end of august

we'll vote on payouts, points scoring, and playoff format and figure out a way to draw the draft order.

Will be played on CBS sportsline.

PM me or post on this thread if interested.

We have about 7-8 teams (waiting on confirmation). room for 4-5 more people.

top 3 pick this year for sure.

after LT and LJ.

i had rudi johnson and kevin jones as my running backs. one of the best RB combos in my league last year...until K jones got injured.

fuckin faggot, ruined my season and my chance to win 20 g's (10 after i split it with my partner). hines ward getting injured and andre johnson sucking in the 2nd half also fucked me. was in 1st place till all those things happened at the same time.

my 3 WR's were reggie wayne, andre johnson and hines ward.

Your friend Anthony? Who's commish? I don't want to be in a league with a bunch of bullshit trades. I was in a EF league with some cheating mother fucker shadow4flcn, he register like 4 teams and traded a bunch of peeps into a super team. Cawksmoker still lost. But if this shits for money it needs to be under control.

I'm commissioner. and i'm very fair. i've been in leagues corrupt unfair commissioners and it's pissed me the fuck off

the league can veto a trade (majority rules) if there's a bullshit trade. i have final say on all trades, but majority can overrule.

yes, my friend anthony. he'll probably be the only non EFer on there. i'm trying to fill up this thing finalized soon. i want to beat his ass in fantasy football because every year he talks shit and we're never in a league together

you obviosuly don't even get what i'm saying. whenever the majority rules, the league is usually under control unless the league is full of asswipes ..which it is, but sane ones :)

however as commissioner i'm first line of defense for peyton manning for brooks bollinger trades

i.e picks on spreads ( winner by xx number of points)

instead of the draft? i hate the player drafting setting ur line up thing every week.

what the fuck....this is fantasy football. go play peewee hockey. that's not even fantasy football. if i want to bet on football, i'll go on any sports betting site and bet against the house DOLO

that's what makes it fun!!!!!!!! you're like the GM of your team bro. I LOVEEEEEEEE the draft, especially when mad people talk shit.
it takes fuckin 3 minutes a week to set your lineup, it's not like fantasy baseball or basketball where you have 82 or 162 games a year. only have 16 weeks of actual play time (that's if you acutally make the playoffs and are still competing). otherwise 13

I haven't talked smack in this thread yet so pay attention. I'll be winning this league, probably go down something like this. Draft day comes and I end up screwed. Week two kicks off with my starting QB going down and a RB getting a felony charge. By week 8 I've recovered and made my move and squeak in the playoffs with a hot team. End of season PM trying to get a solid address for me over in Thailand to send the my winnings. Don't worry folks I'll use your cash on some smokin ladies.
 
I can't wait to see who pulls up last place and has to find another board to post on out of shame.

I can't believe more aren't jumping all over this, what is payout? 1st = all or 1-2 = 75-25%? I'm all for winner take all but maybe paying a couple spots will lure the pussies in.
I'm not worried about you being a shitty commish, I think people who have played before realize a shitty commish fucks the league all up.

we were going to vote on the payouts.

i was thinking 1st, 2nd and 3rd. but we can do 1st and 2nd.

and thanks for the vote of confidence. in the office league we had last year (the one for big time $$$), we had a corrupt ass commissioner. dude fucked us up bad, he was in our division and we were neck and neck and we were about to make a splashy ass move and he locked our trades(cuz we still owed money, but he used it as an excuse. lots of people owed money). then he unlocked it, and told the guy we were trading with that it was a horrible trade. fuckin scumbag.
karma came back around. his team traded for mcnabb and a week later is when he tore his ACL LOL.

last year we had a bonus whoever scored the most points every week, but i don't think the pot is big enough to do that.

out of the 12 teams, what would you guys prefer? 8 teams make the playoffs or 6?

played with both....8 gives everybody a fighting chance except for the really really shitty teams lol

lol...I think 3rd in FF is crap because of the playoff system, doesn't 3rd & 4th end up with the same loss record but one looses earlier in the playoffs?(I'm not real sure but I remember some garbage there somehow). As far as # of playoff teams it is hard to say. If 8 teams are going to be playing hard and have a chance then that is a better playoff but if only 6 teams are active and good then the two extras are basically just first round bye games for someone. As far as that guy and McNabb going down it reminds me how bad injuries suck. I had Daunte starting when he went down and last year I traded Green for Brees and started green the week he took the concusion, talk about at bad trade for me. The other dude was laughing all the way to the playoffs where I killed him.

Also have I let you guys know that I'm going to smash you in this league yet?

Ya you can pencil him in on your draft roster if you want. You should also think about Bo Jackson making a comeback in Buffalo this year, big FF numbers there.
 
6 people in the playoffs is way better, because the regular season doesn't really mean shit if almost everyone makes it in. Plus i like that the top two finishers are rewarded with byes

we'll have a vote once we got the rest of the league in. 8 was very fun last year, and pretty much everyone that deserved to get in did. alot of close records, but of course there's no guarantee that would happen this year.
 
we got 8 for sure.

all 8 are confirmed.

but we still need 4 more. if we can't find 4 more, we can always scale it down to a 10 team league. 12 would be way better though
 
we got plenty of time before the draft, so i'm sure we'll make a couple of additions.

if not we have a few options.

-you guys can bring in a few players from outside of EF (people you know..but keep it honest)
-we can scale down the league to 10 players

or both, if neccessary.

i'm not too worried about bringing in outside players. i think we're all pretty fair/reasonable people. no one in the league is a scumbag and i'll make sure there's no retarded trades/fixing going on.

well, actually everyone in the league is a scumbag. but at least not a cheating one :)

the majority rules factor goes a long way too. nothing worse than a dictator asshole commissioner
 
that is the biggest prob, the commish, not you cashless wonder, in general, i was in a league for about 8 years and the commish was a jerkoff, i won it all last year and i am still waiting for all my cash, he says he has to wait for the other guys to pay b4 he pays me, wtf.

see, that's the problem. commissioner should NEVER be handling the money. also you have to make people pay by certain times..unless you guys work together etc where you see each other every day and you can hound them nonstop. in that case, a few weeks later doesn't matter. but point is, before playoffs ALL money must be paid

i actually had my checks ripped to pay for our league LMAO. since the owners of our company were in the league too

if we have broke nigs in the league we can do 2 installments.

first by the first week of the season (early sept).

2nd by week 6-7.

there's no one on this board that can not afford that.

if you want to pay up front to get it out of the way you can, your choice.

remember faiz, that's american dollars. $100 american dollars = your mortgage payment in canada
 
And if the damn Canadian happens to win I'm not converting it to monopoly money (CAD) before shipping, you'll have to do that on your end.
