1 gallon isnt alot....yes it can speed up your metabolism somewhat. alot would be like 3 gallons.

Drinking a lot of water would eventually lead to fat lose?
Arguments?

When I say a lot of water , I mean around 1 gallon a day...

No way Jose...
I can barely drink 3 litters a day, let alone over 10 litters...

Drinking 3 gallons a day sounds insane to me....1 gall should be suffice...

litter is waste you throw on the side of the street. a liter is a unit of measurement.:D as far as water goes you need to drink alot....theres a thread about this down the page, lots of good info.

I drink 4 gallons a day, and if I'm playing ball that day (full-cour pickup games can easily run 5-6 hours), 7-8 gallons is not unusual. I, however, am careful with adding sodium to my drinks - 50mg per liter, as to not deplete myself of the nutrient, and to help my body retain more of the water that I'm drinking.

You must be living in a resroom.....:D

always have a glass of cold water near you...it makes drinking easier, also try diet soda's and cal free stuff. but water is better.

Water can aid in fat lose by flushing out waste products and toxins that have been built up in your system. High concentrations of certain waste products can slow down metabolism, and there is some evidence that they can impede the release of fatty acids from fat tissue.
