New to the forums and wanted to give a shout and say hello. I am a long time fitness freak and have recently decided to take my workouts to another level by introducing HGH (Hypertropin). I have been taking 4iu ed for about a month and am a little confused. I want to share with you and possibly get some feedback on what I am experiencing.

I work out every morning for about 1 1/2 hours. I do light to moderate weight training and give each muscle group at least 2 days rest. By that I mean, I will do shoulders and tri's on Monday and will do Chest and bi's on Tuesday with Wednesday being cardio and a leg routine. then I will go back to square one and do it all over again. Well, I started to take 2iu twice a day, once upon waking up and the second after lunch. Here it is a month and a half later and I am bloated and achy. (yes, got it..these are the sides from the HGH) However, my joints ache so bad that I cannot do push ups or even stretch out my arms. I am so bloated that I feel like I am gaining weight rather than sliming down. I have not seen any positive sides, i.e. skin better, sleep better, more energy. In fact, I am so lethargic that it takes everything in me to get out of bed in the morning. I'm eating like a maniac and I'm only a quarter through my cycle. I wanted someone else's opinion. Should I stop the HGH treatment and try Anavar or should I keep going and see what the outcome is? I am being serious when I tell you that all I truly want now is to lay in bed and bathe in Bengay. LMAO.

My stats are:

27 female
155lbs
20% bf
Goals: Drop body fat consistently, tone up dramatically and enter a fitness/figure pro contest sometime in the next 2 years.

Disclamer: I am far from a HGH expert! Having said that, 4iu is a rather hefty dose for a female, especially just starting out. Based on what competitive fbb'ers have shared with me personally, you might see the effects you desire from a smaller dose. Also, as you'd expect, your sides would become more tolerable.

Why not try 2iu daily for six months, then take stock? Also, I don't think a month is long enough to see any therapeutic effects. If you're certain your supply is quality, then give it some more time.

I have zero advice because I don't know enough about any of it really....

I just wanted to comment that you describe all of the symptoms I have while pregnant
and my skin only ever got worse and I was always exhausted....and i was always packed on crazy fat pretty much instantly
I can't honestly see how its helpful to anyone for anything really but I'm probably missing the point, maybe its positive sides are better for men?

Thanks for the quick reply. I am very happy to have found you gals. I have been nosing aruond the forums and have already found some well needed knowledge concerning diet.

As far as HGH goes, I have done tremendous amounts of research before I actually dove in. The effects will be worth it in the long run. You are right, rottenwillow, when saying that 4iu's is probably too much. To be honest with you, I do not have 6 months to spare. I almost need to use it up or lose it (trash it) so to speak. I am in the military and am currently serving a tour in Iraq. I cannot bring this stuff back to the states with me seeing as customs is very strict these days (do not blame them one bit). HGH is very beneficial, especially for long term affects. If you, or anyone for that matter, has any questions about it, please feel free to ask. I will tell you my experiences and what i've gained from it.

Thanks again you two, I have decided to stick to my regiment and deal with the sides. I will keep you all posted on my effects and if it worked out for me.

Some people tend to bloat and feel "tight" in the midsection from HGH. Usually it will make your joints feel BETTER. I'm not sure what you've got, but it doesn't sound worth it.

Are you trying to gain size, because if you are running HGH and training light to moderate, as you stated, it's not going to do you much good. You should be training your butt off - to failure on every set. This is true with any AAS as the drug doesn't do the work, the person does.

I would definitely re-evaluate your current plan.
