Extended use of a detox juice... problems?

Hi! I've a question regarding my prolific use of a home brewed detox juice. I have been using the juice (heavily diluted with water) for my sole liquid intake for a couple of weeks. It is a mixture of water; cranberry, orange, and lemon juice; and minute amounts of cinnamon and nutmeg.

I haven't had any adverse effects but I was wondering how long I can continue to use this mixture before there's some sort of problem/imbalance I know they're tough cookies, but, my intestines aren't going to disentigrate, are they? :D

Thank you kindly:)

If you are just drinking the detox juice instead of whole foods, absolutely..

Prolonged use of a detox diet will definitely lead to a deficiency of protein, calcium, etc. It can also cause acne, 'mood swings,' and excessive tiredness..

I'm sure others can chime in more, but from what I know of the detox diets (haven't personally done one and probably never will) I would avoid over using a detox diet.

Thanks Poysyn. I had used it as a meal substitute for a couple days, then started using the juice for my daily liquid intake, including as a mix for my whey protein (2 meals a day) + 3 meals of whole foods. For me, the inclusion of the juice seems to be helping with digestion/elimination. I was just concerned that there may be side effects from such a volume of acidic fluids. Thanks again.:)
