What do you think about it?

I find that there are two sides to it.

on one side:
-You are having sex with some one who knows how you like it and how to satify you (and vise versa).
-You are having sex

On the other side:
-Doesn't have the thrill and excitement of someone new or exiciting and that connection/bond that you once had is no longer there. So it is only an exercise in animalistic indulgence (looses that spiritual and/or carnal intensity).

Sex with the ex is a bad thing...I've been doing it for a few months now and it hurts like a mofo...old feelings are maginified with the sex, not a good idea, though it seems like it at the time...

Well, me and my ex gf have been broken up for about a year now. Of course we did not do this the whole time, there were many months in which we needed to be totally separate to get over each other. We broke up on friendly terms because of issues separate to our feelings for each other, so there is still an attraction. We hang out every so often, once maybe twice a month at the most and sex is inevitable (with a stud like me, could you blame her?). Does it bring back old feelings? Yes, sometimes it does but we have been appart long enough and understand why our relationship no longer is that neither of us goes home and cries after (atleast I hope). I am sure that there are plenty of people who break up on friendly terms and continue to screw each other for a period of time after.

It's like having a booty call, but not as sleezy.
