Ever train your biceps so hard that this happens?

So I was doing curls today and I was all like putting everything into my last reps on a heavy weight. My face looked like --->

I noticed a little tingly sensation when I was contracting hard on the top of my biceps and like an hour later I noticed little tiny red dots over the tops of my arms near my bicep veins. Did I pop a blood vessel or something? Apparently I was exerting myself so much that blood must have come up just below the skin.

This ever happen to anyone else? Should I care?

LOL You must have been editing this when I went to read it. Clicked on the thread and got an "invalid thread" message!

Flipped back to the board, and the original title wasn't there.

Anyway, I haven't experienced what you described, but I do get small (dime-sized) bruises after a lay-off or after trying something totally new.

those are just busted capillaries. i've gotten them before, mostly from very heavy lifts such as deadlifts.

yo i know you what you are talking about. Not only do i get them at the top of my biceps but also at the insertion point where the inner bicep meets the shoulder/pec. They are like little badges of honor that state Yes i am hardcore hahahaaa.

not bad or long term, they will be mostly invisible by tomorrow. :)

i remember one max pull, i had them all over my upper chest, traps, and shoulders. twas weird looking!
