For Dingo and Spats-a little background on breast size:
By late adolescence the enlargement of the breast ducts due to the female hormones has largely been completed, and breasts will not develop further even if stimulated by quite large doses of estrogen. Birth control pills, which have large doses of estrogen compared to a woman's normal production, may cause temporary breast enlargement and tenderness during a woman's cycle, but this is not permanent enlargement of the glands. Hormonal changes in late pregnancy will often produce substantial enlargement of the breasts, but this is entirely a temporary enlargement to prepare for milk production, and if a woman doesn't nurse, her breasts will quickly return to their pre-pregnancy size (though a little less perky than before L ).
Outside of pregnancy, differences in breast size that occur after late adolescence are largely due to differences in the amount of fat in the breasts. No one understands why some women have large fatty breasts and others don't, just as no one understands why some people have big hips and thighs, and others don't, but it is probably mostly genetically controlled.
Now it should be obvious that, even if these pills did work, the results would be either temporary or due to an increase in bodyfat! Some of the ingredients, such as barley, increase prolactin levels. This is something most BBs should avoid! Most of the other cereal ingredients (buckwheat, rye, hops) have historically been associated with a condition known as 'endemic breast enlargement disease' which is actually caused by fungi growing on the improperly stored grains rather than the grains themselves. I seriously doubt the manufacturers of these pills are intentionally adding fungi to their concoctions! Other than that, there are some folks who believe that the phytoestrogens and or fiber in whole grains will cause estrogenic effects but you are unlikely to get anywhere near enough of these from a purely herbal pill. Most damning of all IMHO is that these products claim they boost estrogen but have no side effects other than making your breasts bigger and general sense of well being. That's an utter nonsense. If it had any measureable impact on estrogenic activity a significant percentage of women would notice SOME negative side effects. I guess you could say I'm more than a little skeptical LOL.
