End of Week 2 - CKD Results

Tuesday - 228.5

Help Folks!!! I have hit the wall and I have stopped the weight loss.

My carbs are at around ~100 per day and my total cals are at 2000 per day. I have dropped refeeds as I am no longer on a CKD. I do cardio .5 to 1 mile fast jog every workout night (4 to 5 times a week).

you need to take a little time off the diet, eat maintenance or a little over it. Let your metabolism bounce back, believe me, after I hit a wall, I kept going lower and lower and doing more cardio and lifting and I stayed at the same weight, I took off dieting ( still eating healthy foods that my body needed ) but at a higher caloric level ( mostly low GI , medium GI ) carbs and protein and good fats, then I started back on my diet, still eating the same things but at a lower caloric level, and within a week I was at the weight where I had hit the wall and a week later I had gone below my plateau weight and am continuing to do so until I hit another wall.

Another thing that most people fail to realize is that the kidneys and liver are responsible for over 500 important body functions. What does that mean? It means that we should DETOXIFY our body on a regular basis, which is a proven key to aid weight (fat) loss. Remember, our bodies ingest pollutants, pesticides, and other dangerous chemicals that actually prevent proper utilization of food for energy.
You sound like you're on the ball in all the right areas, but many people overlook this point. One common side benefit is rapid fat loss since all of the toxins hang out in the fat cells -- especially around the waste. Just go to Google and type "Detoxify your body" or something like that!

Peace & piece.

Yeah, I need to get the last set developed.

Keep an eye out, I'll try to do it in the next week.

Oh and BTW, 226.5 as of today.

Friday - 225

Did morning Cardio 3 times this week. I am now eating a semi-balanced diet (40p, 25c, 35f). Taking ALA and NYC.

I use a modified version of Mr. X CKD spreadsheet to come up with my values. I cycle cals a bit.

Tuesday and Saturday I bump up my cal intake to 2400. Rest of the time it's at 1900 per day. I also have made Saturday a semi-refeed as most of the cals are from good carbs. Tuesday is normal split, just more of it.

I need to drop 25 pounds before July 1st.

Sunday - 222!!!!

Yeah for cardio and balanced diet.

I have noticed one thing, comparing the CKD diet to a balanced diet I am MUCH more hungry now while on this balanced diet then I was on the CKD!!! Much more.

The cal cycling does help, but for the most part I am hungry all the time.

Friday - 220.5!!!

Did morning cardio all week, I even went over my calerie limit Tuesday night!

I am in a full semi-balanced diet (40p, 25c, 35f).

I switched from NYC to ECA this week.

I can tell loose skin is going to be a problem. I am developing a 'flap' at the bottom of my stomach that at one time was supported by fat. I rub lotion on my skin every day now. I also tan everyday.

Got some good information about alternative excercises for a injured rotator cuff this week and I feel pretty good about them. My chest was pretty sore after Mondays workout and I didn't even do Flat or Incline bench.
