End of Week 2 - CKD Results

I start the AM cardio next week (Monday), I am finally down far enough (weight wise) I think my knees can handle it 2 times a day.

I really screwed up this weekend! I partied until 8:00 sunday morning (best night of my life).

However, today I weight 234 From 245 Friday.

I fear much of that is muscle.

sigh...

My scale is a fairly high-end digital scale. I don't think it is inaccurate.

Yes, according to my math, 11 pounds in 4 days. I bet muscle and water.

not to burst your bubble Lodid, but when you come off the KEto diet, be prepare to regain around 5-10 lbs of waterweight if you just introduce carbs back into your diet right away... my advice is to slowly go up in carbs around 10g a day or so, or around 25-50 a week, not going to fast, but whatever is comfortable to try to avoid the water regain.

As for losing 11 lbs in 3-4 days, when I restart a CKD, I now do TKD's to help with workouts, I could lose around 10lbs in a week of water, depending on how my diet was at the moment, but normally I count on losing around 5-7lbs in the first week or so, so I am not sure how you would lose 11, unless it was after a carb up.

Ok folks, weighed in at 241 this morning, I am happy and ready to drop the CKD. I am in the IT field and this lack of brain power is getting to me.

Any suggestions for coming off and into a more normal diet?

I like the 5g a day buildup on carbs, is that too fast?

Wednesday - 241 and I am working carbs back into my diet. I am going with 40g for this first week and then upping by 20 per week until I am at 100.

Thursday - 240.5 and I started AM cardio this morning.

Have been at ~40g carbs per day for 3 days now and all seems well!

Friday - Nobody is going to believe this, I weighed in at 237 this morning!!!

Did AM Cardio again. Still at 40g Carbs until next week.

All is going well except I don't know if I am losing a lot of muscle with this weight loss.

I have a feeling that I am.
