End of First cycle questions

Hello,

I am 22 years old, 5'11, 230 pounds, not sure on body fat. I have been lifting pretty consistent for about 4 years now and have always ate a lot but started eating better in the past 6 months. I am nearing the end of my first aas cycle. I did Test-E 250mg twice a week for 11 weeks. I start my PCT on the 15th and it consists of noladex, clomid, and clen to help burn some fat. Before I even considered my cycle was about 185 pounds. I started eating 20 calories per pound of body weight and added more protein to my diet. After about 5 months I got up to about 220-225.

I decided to start my first cycle and since I have made pretty good strength gains and some size gains but I haven't put on as much weight as I hoped I would. I now weight about 232 and I think I am holding at least 10-15 pounds of water. Does this mean I have not made any gains? My strength has went up considerably. My bench has went up from 385 to about 435. My squat has went up about 50-60 pounds. My deadlift has went up about 70 pounds.

Throughout my cycle I kept increasing calories but was unable to put on much weight. According to the 20 calories per pound of body weight theory I only need 4600 to grow and I was taking in about 5000+, 500+ carbs, and 500g of protein a day. I felt like I was putting on fat so I lowered my calories to about 4300-4500 a day and my carbs are at about 400-450 a day. Protein is still at 500g. Since decreasing my calories I haven't lost any weight.

I thought I would put on a lot more then 10-15 pounds on my cycle and I am very bloated so I believe I am holding at least 10 pounds of water. What am I doing wrong? Or is it possible that I have burned fat and gained muscle and that's why my weight isn't continuing to go up.

I believe you have gained muscle it is evident in the increase in your lifts, it is hard to pinpoint if you're doing anythiing wrong with the info provided.the increase in the lifts says you're doing something "right"

if your diet is clean and your water intake is good that means water bloat is kept to a minuim espiecally if run with AI. if that is the case and you have gained weight and strength that reallly should be muscle and a little fat, but the fat can be cut off on a good cutter. meaning u will have added muscle keep your diet going and train intense and you shud retain a good portion of your gains with a good pct layout after the cycle as test e at 250mg per wk is a great first cycle imo

I just started PCT. I have already lost 3/4 of an inch to an inch on my arms. Strength is fading away. I was obviously doing something wrong on cycle..... Maybe not eating enough?

not neccessarily it can happen for a variety of reasons lyk low intensity training on pct less cal intake etc bunk pct maybe? no doubt gains from cycle will diminish because pct is done not to stop gains from going but to keep them at a minimal because the primary aim of pct is the get your natty test production running this in turn minimises muscle loss
