Effect of Guaifenesin on ephedrine hcl

Does Guaifenesin affect the efficacy of ephedrine hcl? Pure ephedrine hcl is illegal here in california and the only products I can purchase caontaining ephedrine hcl is stuff with Guaifenesin added to it.
Does Guaifenesin make the ephedrine less potent?

I call it a nuisance drug. I think it's an expectorant. It's part of the formulation to make it more difficult to turn the stuff into 'speed'.

you are exactly right booger,that's what allows them to sell it in some places,because believe it or not they have banned it in a lot of places.the only way i think you can buy it seperate is online.............
