I am kinda confused on the fat thing. I have researched it and i still do not get it. What is the difference in laymans tersms. Ahh! I know saturated is bad of course and that the body finds it hard to break down. But isn't fat...fat as far as polys and monos? I find it hard to figure out how much I need. I am cutting and taking in 1700 cals. I am 5'4 166 with slow metabolism unfortunatley.
 
Really you need to do alot more research. The answer to your question is far more complex than you think. What type of diet are you doing. For cutting for a contest or photo shoot I do a keto diet. So my fat calories are between 70 and 80% of my total calories a day. Other's believe in higher carb diets and will go as low as 10% on their fat calories. Saturated fat is not as bad as its often made out to be. You'll die if you don't eat it. Just eating too little will cause less testosterone production, sore joints and loss of muscle mass.
