dont matter to me , was thinking about tony romas bbq. but anyplace will do. Why dont u pick the place and tell us what time and where. I just want to make sure i get a dinner in. aw shucks is on greenville? just let me know, i,m heading to gym. latter.

It also takes digial pictures, but only at 640x480, so if someone else wants to bring something with higher resolution go for it.
 
Dallas here. I think Deep Elum would make for a very, very young crowd(like 17-20). I think lower Greenville would be better. Hey, knight keep talking about your swinging wife, I think it will make more people come.lol

Damn, that's the only problem with Texas..... it's too damn big!

We first have to decide if it's gonna be in Dallas, Houston or Austin!

I can do Dallas, but it's unlikely that I can make one of the other cities.

I know Gymnpoppa is in the Dallas area, and I think BronzedGoddess in up in North Texas...... who else?
 
I also would prefer Austin. I DETEST the dallas area. I just moved from there and I ain't going back.
 
Ok..........nothing is getting accomplished here so I will take a crack at arranging something. How does The first Saturday in October sound to yall at The Copper Tank on 6th Street in Austin? Kinda laid back yet still lively? What do yall think?
 
Maybe what Knight69 had said was a good idea. Maybe we can do one in Austin.... and another in Dallas.

I'd be at Hedo III that weekend anyway.

I would adore to do anything in Austin and would even help as much as possible with preperations. Count me in.
 
Well I'll go to anything in Austin or Houston. I'm moving back to Corpus at the end of October. But if by some strange chance I'm still stuck here in purgatory (wichita falls) I'll swing by the Dallas get together..................Just as long as knight69 doesn't try to lynch me ;)
 
Ok......I talked to Star briefly last night on AIM and she said any day would be cool with her as long as we had it in Austin and Kinght69 stayed away from her, lol. So let's do it the second Saturday in October at where ever you Austin people want, yall would know the town better than I.
 
alright, i'm here to clear up the confusion. the first weekend in nov, i believe nov 2, is bocktoberfest in new braunsfels, just south of austin. it would be a blast if we all went, it is a festival for shiner bock. i'll be the designated driver because i know most of you are weaker minded individuals who need to drink to have fun and feel accepted socially.
anyway, i'll be in austin that weekend, so if the rest of you dallas/houston freaks don't want to come, then i say the cream of the elite crop, the austin peeps, should go. we can crash at bobbers, right bobber? or we could all just head to mexico at like 4 in the morning. either way, i'm down.

That sounds like a blast, too. But I'm not buying the I go to Texas Tech and I don't drink bullshit.

FBI - Sounds good to me and all yall are most deffinetly welcome to crash at my place. So who all is in. Star I believe you will be the only female surrounded by a handful of hot jacked guys, you should feel honored.
 
I'll be opening a new business venture in Plano that weekend so if its in Austin I am out. Also if in Dallas we need to meet where i can have fun as well as deep Elem (sp) does not do it for me though Village Station does. (lol) but I am sure there must be an in between palce.
 
O.k. lets settle for austin the 1st time and dallas the 2nd meeting. Ayways havnt been to hippie hollow for a while and after our get together , i can take wife there and get wild. as far as dallas , went to village station once (curiosity) while wife was next door at sue ellens, (just my own opinion, the techno music sucked)
 
village station - not a place you want to go to by yourself, nor with a couple of guy friends unless you're gay. every time i have been with a big group that included enough girls, i've had a pretty good time. the music's good and it makes for some really interesting people watching. i usually end up leaving the rose room thinking, "what the hell just happened in there?"
y'all did an austin meeting last time. you should meet up in dallas this run and then maybe houston the next time.

nov 2. bobber, step up and take charge. you're the closest one. i'll have to get off work within the next week or so if thats the plan. i vote for bocktoberfest on the 2. any objections???
 
Novemeber 2nd it is!!! Bocktoberfest sounds like a great place to me. It is in New Braunfels right? Who mentioned it? Who ever did hook us up with the web site and we can figure out a meeting spot. I say we make it a 7 p.m. arrival time and none of that fashionably late crap either or the group will move on with out you. We might want to swap numbers just in case some one is lost or caught in traffic so the group knows where they are. Boys yall have a month to beef it up! I am real excited about meeting you people. Should we bring dates or just come and hang out with fellow board members?

OK....so yall don't like the Copper tank.....how about we meet at the Hula Hut for dinner, or even better the Hula Hut has a a dinner cruise on Friday nights. It's all inclusive, including drinks. Let me know what yall think. We could do it the first Friday in November.

sixth street was cool, when i was 18 with fake id. i don't want to come down to hang out with a bunch of 18 year olds with fake ids.

bobber, i was saying the wrong name. its worchfest(sp?), like bocktoberfest but german beer instead of shiner. i don't know, i'm not a huge fan of german stuff, especially their philosophers so i doubt i would like the beer too much. might as well drink motor oil and read teen people.

the hula hut idea sounds great to me. i love that place. i vote for hula hut. but what time does the boat leave? i would be pushing it time-wise i bet.

and if any of you tech peeps want to come, chrisoh or techlifter, let me know and ya'll can ride with me and crash at my place. but if you do i hope you like willie, alabama, and old george, and i sing too, the whole way there and back. let me know.
 
OK, back to the plans..... I prolly can't make an Austin meet, but you guys/girls in Austin need to nail down a plan.

I would also like to see a Dallas meet, so I can make it.... but I'm not familiar with the downtown area, so someone else needs to make some suggestions, lower Greenville is fine with me, but I'm open to anything (just about)
