hi everyone
I've been thiknking alot lately and im unhappy being the size i am, I'm 280lbs, 6'2 at around 18% bodyfat. I would like to drop some size, basically I'm not worried about losing muscle, I want to drop bodyfat as well but i would like to get down to about 220lbs. It's not so much the bodyfat i'm worried about its more the size im at. I find it hard to buy clothes and do everyday things like getting in and out of cars doing things that normal people do. i know its not a normal thing to ask on a bodybuilding site but it has been something i ahve wanted to do for a long time. I find it really easy to gain size but i find it hard to lose size and bodyfat. Any help would be appreciated thanks alot

I would switch places with you anyday bro. I'm at 200 lbs...I would give a LOT to be at 280 lbs...thats awesome.

Would you be so kind as to post up a typical daily diet?

My former coach is doing the same thing right now (former IFBB pro and Olympia physique competitor). She had gotten smaller, and looks great still.

I could also ask her a bit more, I do know she has laid off training a bit.

I'm not really fallowing a st5rict diet at the moment im pretty much coasting, trying to keep protein high and carbs fairly moderate with what ever fats are there, If i add protein powder i gain weight, if i add carbs i gain weight, i've tryed to keep training low with higher reps but i seem to stay the same but add strength, It's weird because what works for others doesn't work for me, I feel as though im damned whatever i do because if i keep doing weights i will only get bigger no matter what kind of reps or program i follow, I'm thinking i may need to eat green salad and chicken breast a couple times a day and a apple twise a day and take an appetite supressent to try drop weight

I would assert you would like to lose body fat. It takes up a lot more space than muscle.

Do you know how many calories you are eating a day?

Are you doing any cardio?

Would you post up a typical day's diet ie.

Breakfast - 1 cup oatmeal, 2 eggs

Mid morning- and so on.............

In this pic, when the man looks smoother and not as in as good shape, he is 25 lbs heavier than the one where he looks massive.

Indeed, the heavier man would not neccessarily look bigger...you can be lighter and look bigger at the same time....

Im not wanting to look bigger im really wanting to look smaller haha i know it seems backwards but im really sick of looking like a bodybuilder or powerlifter, i enjoy going to the gym but am un happy with not being able to find clothes that fit, im a 3xl at the moment and would ideally like to drop size so i can buy clothes at normal stores and be able to do alot of differnt things that are normal that i find it hard to do now

ok ill post some very simple steps

1.drop the bad fat out of your diet as much as possible.. i would eat the fat off steaks because i didnt like wasting food but once i stopped dooing it (along with the other things) i started losing weight.
2. Increase the fibre in your diet
3. Eat foods that have a low gi
4. dont drink soft drink.
5. No alcohol for a few weeks

Hope this info isnt to simple and stuff you already know.. it really worked for me and very quickly
