I'm going for a full blood test tumarro mornin, including a testosterone test. If prescribed will the dose be enough for muscle growth? Thanks

Depends on what he gives you! It also depends a lot on what your current test production is, but the short answer is... yes!!! Normal HRT I believe (and yall old guys that are on it chime in here! ;)) averages about 250mg/wk, about half of the "standard" 400-600mg/wk that most use on cycle. But... since you are going to a doctor who has completed medical school, even if he isnt a steroid expert for sport use, he will be able to tell you about dosage. It also depends on if you are going to a doctor who specializes in anti-aging/etc (typically not covered by insurance, like elective surgery) or an endo/other specialist (insurance will generally cover this.

General practitioners and endos treat for low lab numbers and generally prescribe between 100-200mg/wk which should put you solidly in the middle of normal range unless you have high SHBG. Biggest problem with GP's and Endos is they often only give biweekly injections which often results in some mood swings and sides due to fluctuating T levels.

TRT clinics treat for sides of aging and often to up to 400mg/wk if the patient is healthy and leads an active healthy lifestyle.

From Doctors I've spoken to in Australia they have told me they normally dose between 100 & 150 mgs per week. When I told them (there was 2) that some people claim to be prescribed up to 250 a week they thought it was outrageous and unnecessary to inject such a high dose of testosterone.

Anywho thats just what I was told
