double denim bench shirt

i was wondering if anybody has experience with denim bench shirts. i am getting an inzer standard double denim bench shirt complete open back. i bench 260 raw i have a big arch and a strong lockout. i was wondering if a 315 bench would be doable carryover from the shirt and if it can touch with it being a more entry level denim?

From my experience they suck balls. I've seen very few who could use them with success. You would be better off with a rage x, or a rage. The sdp is a bad ass shirt but you need to be very experienced to use one. Since you have a big arch the ragex is probably the best option. They go from a basic single which can yield 100lbs carry over to a pimped out triple with scooped neck and grid stitched that can yield over 250+ lbs. don't forget to keep on bringing up your raw strength as this will build a better base to bench with In gear.

i was thinkin about getting a rage x because theres nothing but good said about them. also if i want a snug fitted denim bench shirt inzer says to go a size bigger and if its double ply to also go up 1 size so if i want a snug fit double denim should i go up 2 on the chest and arms? or just one because im 15 and im growing fast i put on 25 pounds in four months, so i dont want to out grow the shirt in less than 6 months either

Inzers charts are made for average size people. If your built like me( short and thick then it doesn't apply. And you would always go slightly smaller with the arms and chest plate. As its gonna stretch when you break it in and if its loose it will lose that pop. Denim is very hard for most to get much out of. I tried one once and never again. I got 150lbs out of a single ply ragex. They take some patience to learn how to use but its definitely worth the hassle. If your gonna spend $100+ on a shirt you might as well get a good one. You can also go on powerlifting watch website and look for used shirts for cheap. You might be able to get 2-3 different used ones for the price of one new one. That way you can try different shirts and see what you like.

well i dont want to get it tight because i need to be able to touch less than 300 if its size big would it ruin it and take all the pop out or will it just not be as good as it can be?

Touching is a skill that you have to learn. If you can touch an easy weight day one and press it then the shirts too loose. It usually takes several sessions working down on the boards to touch. I pressed 650 in mine and could still touch 550. And I could jack it down and press over 7 off boards. It just takes work and lots of it to master those shirts. Then once you learn to use it you have to get stronger in it. Every attempt in a shirt is going to have a different setting. Obviously your opener will be very loose and you should be able to touch 275. Then when it's jacked down on a 3rd you may struggle to get 350 to touch. There is a lot of pressure in the bottom and its fucking painful, but if your patient it will touch. They take time to learn so whichever you choose start working in it ASAP.
