Dog owners, I gotta ask something

I Told You So ...

If you walk your dog (on public parks or streets) for it to do it's business, do you clean up after it or do you just leave the mess?

If you leave it, what gives you the right (particularly when it comes to the dog using someone's lawn)?

I'm trying to understand the mentality here, seriously.

if you catch someone letting their dog shit in your yard go outside and tackle the owner and rub their nose in it. They'll learn.

I gather it up and follow them home.
I smear it all over their front door and then ring the bell.
When they answer I smear the rest in their face.
Never see the same dog twice.

I always clean it up.

Unless its buried in some bush right next to another dogs shit. That way I have plausible deniability.

What gives cat owners the right to let their feline's roam loose in the neighborhood? :D

We both know most cat owners don't have true "house cats"

In the UK dog owners have to clean up after their mutts (on risk of fine) yet people riding horses along the pavement don't have to clean up the several kilos of horseshit their horses leave.

I always picked it up. If I had him at the dog park and saw him deucing far away I'd try to find it, but if I couldn't I'd pick up a different deuce.
