#2 Just imagine what life without porn/tv/bikinis was like for our grandfathers. Even the slightest things must have aroused the hell out of them...Nowadays girls dress like strippers and you see tons of chicks in bikinis and lingerie on TV. As a result, I think it's harder to get aroused because we have been desensitized to the female body by modern medias.

You know, this is actually a discussion I've had with my husband. For some people porn starts to become like "mental novacaine." You get numb to looking at normal people doing normal things and start looking for more exciting or shocking things.

I think for some people porn can set them up for potential unrealistic expectations about what a real people look like, what real women sound or act like, or even what "normal" sex is like.

Normal sex is just a silly activity in general. Face it, someone usually makes funny sounds or smells, ends up saying either "ouch," "uh, not there," "that's no good," "stop that," people change positions not because it's photogenic but because someone got a cramp. Part of the time, it ends because the phone rings, the kid knocks on the door, or someone gets bored.

... and no matter what everything needs to be done with in less than 1/2 an hour so you can get to work.
