lose anything nutrient wise?
If i took beef, chicken, salmon, pork ect...and made it into jerky does it lose anything?
Obviously beef jerky is great for protein minus the extreme sodium. I have a dehydrator and better yet I could cook it in my smoker at like 180 until its basically jerky.
Just for the fact that its convenient to carry, eat, doesnt require heating or keeping cool.
My thought is that it loses nothing valuable but could someone verify this? I'm salivating at the thought of smoking some salmon and eye of round this weekend. (without a salt loaded marinade)
