where do you get ketostix? I bought them at cvs pharmacy, and they costs15$ damn dollars. I think its because of the akins frenzy? DO they have a different type of name like urin analysis
Mine were about that much at the local "health" store...but I got 100 strips in the bottle and there is no need to use them every day unless you are obsessive. As long as you stay on track with your diet you shouldn't need to check once you get into ketosis. So 2-3 sticks each time max. 100 will last a while at that rate.
As for the citric acid...it does kick some people out. That is the reason the South Beach diet says to avoid caffiene. It was a mistake in thinking that caffiene kicks people out when it was actually the citric acid in the diet soda they were drinking.
