Do you use PCT after your AAS cycle? Why or why not?

There's debate on whether or not women need post (AAS) cycle therapy to maintain LBM gains. And even amongst those who do feel it's helpful, there's substantial disagreement on how it should be implemented.

Do you use PCT? If not, is it just b/c you've never given it any thought, or do you feel it's not neccesary?

I don't do any PCT as the prescribed PCT for men doesn’t really work for females anything herbal remedies such as tribulus will actually cause more side effects then helping raise natural test levels. Really time is the best option IMO time on equals time off.

I have done a couple of cycles in the last few years and have never done any PCT. I always thought it wasn't necessary for women. I could always keep some good gains and l and never had any sides from coming off. I have heard people that taper at the end of their cycle, but I have never done that either. I have only used var though nothing anything more harsh than that.

Pregnenalone topical and dhea would be a nice idea for women

i know a female bodybuilder developing something

not necessity per se' but could not hurt either

Cortisol, CNS, and nitrogen retention would still be an issue to a degree with cessation of any anabolic, thus the reccomendation I made ladies

I read an article that showed it takes 7 months on average for a woman's testosterone levels to recover.
I will go looking for it one of these days...

Slat I've tested this on myself, and I'd say there evidence for testosterone suppression with resulting loss of muscle. I've come off cold (ie. not PCT at all) and with something to jumpstart my T production again, and retained more LBM with the PCT.

FWIW I used freeze-dried garlic at 7000mg a day the last half of the cycle to keep my T production from suppressing, and stayed at that level for the first four weeks off.

I've read a FBB'ers who suggest actually taking stuff to increase E immediately aftercycle to avoid the sometimes substantial E rebound which can end up causing large muscle loss.
